Claims

HIC provides personal attention to every report, notice, inquiry or claim. Our experienced professional claims personnel anticipate and meet the needs of discovery, litigation and resolution. HIC policyholders can log in (using the log-in area on the left) for information about reporting claims or incidents.

If you are ever notified of a complaint, report it immediately.

To report a claim, policy holders can select Primary for instructions.

If HIC is your excess insurance provider, and you are not affiliated with Beth Israel Medical Center, Maimonides Medical Center, Montefiore Medical Center, Mount Sinai Medical Center and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, download and a Notice of Claim form (PDF), complete and send directly to HIC. Please note that e-mail is not a substitute for filing a Notice of Claim (PDF). Please be certain to complete and submit the Notice of Claim form in order to report a claim properly.
